Expanded SP1005 and SP1007 Series Provide Greater ESD Protection for Sensitive Chipsets
Enhanced ESD protection ensures greater product reliability in the field The SP1005 and SP1007 Series General Purpose TVS Diode Arrays (SPA® Devices) have been expanded to include two new 0402 size devices that offer better protection from electrostatic discharge (ESD) for integrated circuits (ICs) compared to their MLV (Multi-Layer Varistor) predecesors. Their low dynamic resistances provide a clamping voltage up to 80 percent lower than this competing technology. Their enhanced ESD capability ensures a higher level of ESD protection than the maximum rating in the IEC61000-4-2 standard and better product reliability in the field.
